Everything I need to take with me fits in this tote.I have a laptop that measures exactly 15″ from side to side and it fits in the bag laptop padded compartment. Even though it is a tight fit, the padded compartment flap still closes securely. No need for a laptop sleeve which is nice. I have smaller 11″ inch laptop that I leave in this tote so I have it with me when I’m on the road for the day and it fits with room to spare. This tote is very nice high-quality leather. I really love the sturdy, round and padded handles; they don’t “dig” into my shoulder. Even when I’m wearing a coat there is plenty of room for my arm to fit through the handles. The front pocket holds my 7″ tablet and charger for my phone and a few other things that I want to access quickly. My other chargers, ear phones etc. I keep in a neoprene zippered bag that I throw in the tote so I don’t have to dig through the tote to find what I need. The pockets are roomy and big enough to hold my Note 4 and other items that I need to access easily. The outside pocket on the back side of the tote can easily hold paperwork, a magazine or folders if you need to take things like that along. This same pocket is zippered at the bottom so that if you are traveling you can unzip the “pocket” and use it as a open sleeve to slide over a suitcase expandable handle to combine your luggage when traveling. The bottom of the tote is 4 inches wide and is not leather but a durable material that can easily be wiped clean. There are protective “feet” on the bottom. See pictures for more details.I really REALLY love this tote and it has exceeded my expectations. I will get a lot of use out of this tote.Read more

I have gone through lots of bags. Problem is I need a purse/work bag, because that is what I use daily. I hate walking about with a work bag & a separate purse. The other issue, is I’m so sick of the huge tote work bags. They look like I’m lugging my entire office.Recently, I have been trying to find more of a “bucket” style bag. It is not easy out there; or they are cheap, or just ugly. Something that even looks like a purse, because due to laws in my type of business, I can’t leave things in my car. So, I wanted something that I can take inside a restaurant, etc.For about 2 years, I’ve seen this bag, and gave up and bought it. It is really nice! I was concerned it would not hold a lot, but it even holds my larger portable office scanner (instead of the small one I’ve been using lately), and I’m absolutely delighted. Here is the foundation of what I carry in my bag daily to give you an idea: My 15.3 inch laptop (with the sidetrak attached to it), my epson 300 wifi scanner, my portable speaker (gotta have music when I work), my amazon tablet (for TV & news), and other odds and ends from makeup to pens, etc. I STILL HAVE ROOM! Plenty of it.I also like the construction of it. The last bag I got (similar) was much more rigid & one can feel the hard plastic lining inside of it – which eventually bent. This one is pliable.Mother’s Day will be coming up. Worth the money if your Wife or mom works. If you are concerned that the side look is too slender, it does end up surprising you with what you can put in it. I also travel quite a bit, and it is now my go to bag for long trips, weekend get-a-ways, etc.Final note…if you really want to make a splash to it…which I love the dark brown color…I got a guitar style strap to add to it. It just give it a touch of color, and I can even use it as a another way of carrying the bag.Read more

Nice leather and a good shape make this a pretty bag. But when they call it a “bucket,” they mean it! There’s no top zipper, snap or even a flap to keep the top closed and covered. I don’t feel comfortable carrying my expensive electronics in a bag with a completely open top. Nor would I care to see my papers, mail, or whatever falling onto the floor if the bag tipped over, so I returned it. It doesn’t make much sense to label it a “laptop” bag. It’s not a fashionable briefcase; it is a classy and sturdy tote.Read more

Bought this bag 18 months ago to combine my computer bag and purse into one carry-on item for air travel. Works beautifully: the tall shape allows space for computer plugs/accessories on the bottom, laptop/papers in the padded computer sleeve, with room for a purse on top and still all within the body of the bag. Slides perfectly under the seat of an airplane, with the opening still accessible. The padded computer sleeve easily accommodates my 13″ laptop and plenty of paperwork folders. The inside pockets are handy for my wireless mouse, earbuds, business cards, pens, etc. I use the open outside pocket for my cellphone wallet, glasses case, and keys (keeping the bottom zipper closed). The outside zippered pocket is good storage for small but less frequently-used items, as it is a bit awkward to access; as others have noted, it would be more versatile with double zippers. The shoulder handles aren’t padded but are thick/wide enough that they don’t dig into the shoulder, even when carrying a full load. I even like the robin’s egg blue interior color. But the standout feature of this bag is the quality of the leather – wonderfully supple without any special care and still generating compliments after 18 months of daily use and lots of under-the-seat abuse during travel. (Note that those seemingly odd interior straps snap together to help keep the contents in place when the bag is on its side). There’s not a tear anywhere, not in the lining or the leather. Bottom line: this bag absolutely works for me – the shape, the features, the quality. I’m thinking I should buy another one, just in case it has disappeared from the market when I finally need a replacement.Read more
