I bought this sling bag/backpack/man utility pack for a trip with my son to Canada. I wanted something I could put my Nintendo switch, a couple Nintendo switch accessories, a small pack of butt wipes, a small pack of regular wipes, phone, keys, wallet, and chapstick. You probably aren’t suppose to do this, I had my kid sit on it when he got tired from walking. I that lugged that 40 pound nose picker for around 6 hours. The bag is awesome. It was well worth it. Only Con… The seat belt bucket. It looks really cool, but one friend feels the need press it. Lucky it has the second strap that prevents the bag from falling completely off. Read more

This is a GREAT all purpose sling bag for the urban environment. While I probably own somewhere on the order of 20-30 assorted packs, bags, etc. I was looking for a niche sling bag that was more compact, carrying only my essentials, that I could utilize comfortably on a bike, on foot, or even running. This Chrome sling fits the bill. It’s incredibly comfortable, stays in position without sliding or chafing, and can be easily adjusted, doffed, and donned. The seatbelt buckle is great and allows one to take it off quickly without messing up your hair or getting it caught on a helmet. The compartments are adequately sized for small to medium notebooks, a dividing pen pocket and a small accessory pocket at the front I use for charging cables and charging packs. Zippers and cordura are all high quality and the stitchwork is solid. Chrome uses many types of fabrics. The bag I received was a non-waxed, less water resistant cordura than some of their other packs I’ve seen friends use. That said it does just fine with a light sprinkle, but I’ll be coating it with DWR for the future. All in all a great bag. Read more

This sling bag is quite unique with the seatbelt buckle as the key point. It is a bit heavy considering the buckle is metal but I already knew it would be prior to the purchase. The sling overall is well made and looks really good. The one thing I wish they had done to this bag is make it just a little bit wider and a little bit taller. That would make this bag size perfect for my use to carry a mirrorless camera, charging battery, wallet, keys and small misc items. After about a month of daily use, I noticed that the lining on the front pocket was coming off. Not a deal breaker for me but wish the stitching would’ve lasted a bit longer. If it gets in the way, I’ll most likely pull the entire lining off eventually. Chrome Industries does offer a warranty but unfortunately their retail hubs are closed so I can’t send it in to get a replacement or fix. Read more

Originally I gave a 5 stars but changed mind to 1 star. The damn thing ripped. I only had it for 2 weeks and it ripped. I still use it but very dissatisfied with longevity. Read more

Perfect sized bag – can hold new ipad 11 with plenty of extra room. Not as rugged as i’ve come to expect from all my chrome bags my inner lining ripped from what i assume was a closed pen rendering the pocket i store my wallet phone and ends and odds useless. Look for a different bag if you’re assuming chrome will hold up to commuter needs. Read more

This bag is close to perfect. I wish it was just 1 inch taller and 1 inch longer with the adjustable clips for a rolled up jacket or water bottle and I would use no other bag. I use it for the gym, for biking, for edc and as a camera bag for urban photography. This bag barely fits a Sony a7 III with a 24-70 lens, and an iPad pro. Just an inch of extra space would make it absolutely perfect. Read more

What a well-made bag! No issues with sturdiness or manufacture – Chrome Industries obviously knows what they’re doing. The straps can be loosened to make it wider/thicker. The best thing to me is that I can fit a small 1st aid kit, my 13.3″ HP Elitebook 2-in-1 laptop, my powerpack, my Anker 20,000 mAh battery, pens, business cards, earbuds charger, a 10″x8″ spiral notebook, and a micro-umbrella in a super-small package. The waterproof (resistant?) bag keeps things dry and the mesh backing is nice for keeping the air flowing where it presses on my back. I wish I could lock out the seatbelt buckle but I think that can be accomplished with some kind of a strap-like cover. Read more

I found the perfect sling! I can fit Canon 5D Mark III DSLR with a 24-105 lens attached, along with a 430EXII flash, and a Canon M3 mirrorless camera with an 18-55mm lens attached as you can see on the picture. Great bag overall! Read more
